Some of the green things I explored lying down on the forest floor in the woods nearby yesterday. The plant above is Paris quadrifolia, ready to roll out her four, green leaves.

The colour combinations are great. (Like on the fourth one – the blue and green). Isn’t it amazing the things that you see when you go close up? Such insignificant things until we take the time to notice them.

I like the way you play with depth of field, with some parts in focus and some parts out of focus. My favourite is the second to last, exactly for that reason. In addition the colours from deep blue to fresh green is a blast. Finally I really like the simple composition.

Nice to see Paris quadrifolia is growing in your area too. In Belgium this has become a rare and protected plant. Found some plants in full flower on may 1th already.
