I got to do some skiing this Easter. Actually the mountains are all white and perfect for skiing, even if there is no snow in the village. There were even Easter sunshine, which we long for, but I find these photos more interesting. They are from a few days back. Grey weather, but ok for a trip in the nature.
The cross reveals that we are now on the Swedish side of the border. Also the Norwegians marks were to go during winter, but only with simple poles, no cross at the top. All these are to show you the way if it gets windy and all you can se is white. Then you go from one of these to the next. There are more photos on this link. And some more Easter photos on this link.
I thought I’d mention that you need to correct title speling on this post. Diving, that’s what I did this Easter season. But it was mighty cold in the California Pacific ocean. I’d rather have been bundled in my ski gear, never cold there.

Thanks. I have been on the road for 9 hours, and the first thing I noticed when opening this computer was of course that missing letter in the spelling. Now it should be there. Diving, that sounds exciting, frightening, and yes, cold. Your are right, we are usually never cold while skiing.

Very nice. I like the look of the place, although I would be snowshoeing as opposed to cross-country skiing.

I googled snowshoeing and see you can follow. But you would be way behind, dear friend. Thanks for your comment.

I think you’ve achieved a very “Zen” quality with this post. The snowy fields look so vast and the people very tiny. Lovely photos.

Härliga bilder! Jag blir lockad, får lust att åka med! Och det svenska korset, jag har ju sett en hel del sådana i norra Sverige, men det kändes som om det var länge sedan, och det kändes som ett kärt återseende!

dont know why, but loved the last frame. all the ones look bit over exposed due to snow, but in the last one I liked the kind of minimalist look for all that whites. Bente, been little busy. So got the time to check ur posts now. Its reverse order, from latest to slightly older ones. 😉

J’aime beaucoup cette série. Cela traduit très bien l’atmosphère des ‘”jours blancs” à la montagne.
