2016 and 2017 was not that good years, and I didn’t blog as much as previously. But 2018 might be different, and I wish everybody a Happy new Year! This pictures are from New Years Eve, that is from around 14:45 that day, when the sun had just set, and a big bright moon was rising. I did not bring a camera on this stroll by the big lake, only my mobile. But anyway, I thought, better than nothing, since I like the colours a lot on cold days like that one.
I learned something. Even if the mobile camera has been so much improved, I will try to bring my camera more often again. Some more picture of Norwegian frost on this link.
I even made a short video of the moonrise, but even these pictures are only by my mobile.
incredible photos, thanks for presenting them for us. memorable

Glad you are back, missed your photos. I now take all my photos on my iPad mini…it does a pretty good job all things considered.

That is part of the problem, Ancientfoods, the mobiles, iPads etc. are som good, we could soon forget about cameras, in many cases. I even have forgot when I need one..

I do agree. Even though I use the iPad I still miss my SLR of the past.

You certainly knows more about the moon than me, Ancientfoods, but I googled and found some information. Today would be a nice day for the moon over here, but it is now cloudy. Can’t have it all. https://www.space.com/35281-january-full-moon.html

Those are amazing photos, even if they are made with your mobile. I love the face of the moon once it had risen. Its face is saying, “Ohhhhh!” Maybe it was surprised to see Bente and her camera! I hope this will be a better year for you and it’s so nice to see you on the blog again!

I’m happy to have you visit my blog. I was very interested to read yours and to hear the impact of the migrant “invasion.” Has anything improved on that front?

About your last comment Anneli; the answer would be no. Even if there are less seeking for asylum. Norway is not a member of EU, but we are connected with an agreement that says “free movement”. That is not good for work conditions in our country. But the only people who get new citizens are from muslim countries, 15-20.000 every year. So many because they already here, get family members from their home country to come. They hardly marry Norwegians. So like Sweden and other European countries we are going for a future with not only two etnic grups like the last thousands of years, but with about 200 different etnic groups. It will be a challenge, and I did not vote for this development.

Kjempefint Bente 🌟 godt 2018 til deg! Hvilket redigeringsprogram bruker du for mobilvideo?

The light and the scenery are fabulous. But the temperature is certainly well below the one we have in Paris (it looks almost like we are in the spring).
I wish you all the best for 2018

Beautiful colors indeed. Gorgeous images. I too have become a bit lazy about carrying my real camera, and the images suffer some for it, but at least it still captures the beauty enough to share.

Yes, lets do that in 2018, capture the beauty when we see it, whatever the equipment, but carry the camera too sometimes. Thanks a lot, Sheri.

I don’t have a mobile device of any sort, so I will continue to learn how to use my DSLR camera! Still, it is the beautiful image that matters, and these are very beautiful. My favorite photo is the second, because of the tracks in the snow. I believe they might belong to Photographicus norwegianus!

I will say, I was a bit hard of getting in the habit of carrying a camera at first but it almost become a subconscious need once you do it for so long. Beautiful footage by the way!
