A strange thing happened, I got a lot of followers just by blogging from my daily life. As a photographer and otherwise. This is great fun of course, and also unexpected. This time last year there were probably a handful, now there are 1000. I know not every one is visiting regularly, but a lot of you once in a while and that is great. I remember in the beginning I was thinking: nobody visiting my great posts? Not seriously, but still. Nobody, or almost nobody. Now I communicate with some many exciting, interesting and inspiring bloggers. This is my window to the world. And I hope you have some pleasures too, peeping back. There is only one problem, lack of time. The picture is from visiting the reindeer herders last week, and I have just started uploading some of the pictures to a new reindeer photo gallery.
Although our topics are much different, I am hoping that mine will be a conduit for deep and meaningful relationships as well. Keep up the good work.

But many of your photos were taken at quite normal but typical of your country.
And me to find how great those landscapes are, — all thanks to your photos.

I really enjoy the reindeer and the trees in the background. Photos almost make me shiver as if feeling the cold. Soft bluish cast (at least to my eyes) is very pretty.

Yes, I understand this lack of time, and it becomes ever harder to keep up with my favorite blog-friends. Even when I am not here, I think of you, and I find myself telling stories about Norway that I have learned from you or bragging to my brother about how lovely your berry desserts looked and how the berry bushes cover the whole hillside in your photos. I have told you before that you have made me feel connected to Norway and my heritage there, but that has really meant something to me that stays with me. Thanks for your wonderful blog, and I’m so glad you are enjoying the many windows on the world in the blogosphere as much as I do too. See you again soon!

That is interesting. Blogging is great when we see and learn something new, and also when we experience something similar or wellknown that might be far away. Roots yea, there are as many with norewgian roots in the US as their are norwegians in Norway I have heard.

Well I learned something new again. I certainly have a lot of friends here with roots in Norway too.

Your reindeer gallery is wonderful too. I especially like image 5 of 26. It catches the scale of all the reindeer and the people trying to locate their own. It really must be something to see.

It fun and I am just surprised it really is. Both as a blogger and a reader it creates a world away from the headline drama of the news. I can also say that I have learned a great deal a great deal about people.places and events….many I guess would never get the public viewing they deserve. Thank you for your contribution I do enjoy and appreciate the time you take to share.

¡Maravillosas! Ya tienes suerte con esas escapadas geniales…
Un gran saludo. Buen día,
